I'm so excited for you guys! KC is a great art town! As you mentioned the Plaza is fantastic - it's modeled after Sevilla, Spain. You have to check out the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum - their collection is amazing. They just opened a new building too, which is supposed to be fantastic. Also, American painter Thomas Merton lived and painted in KC. The You can tour his house and studio. It's wonderful! (His work was on the cover of Noll's History of Christianity in the US, if you had that text). I think the music scene is supposed to be great to, which you'll soon find out! :) Anyway, sorry for the ramble. I hope this is a good transition! :) Wow! I’m so excited for you guys!
